The following CHART attempts to show the listenability of various pieces of Classical music.

The reason why the Chart was created was that I was sick and tired of radio presenters playing a 'durgey' piece of music that just dragged its way through what seemed like hours only to be wrongly told by the presenter that it was 'brilliant'.

I have put values against various catagories of the music. i.e. Quality, timing and listenability.

. ........QUALITY ........................................ ..TIMING............................................. LISTENABILITY

........1 - BRILLIANT......................................................1 - CORRECT TIMING ........................................A - WELL WORTH LISTENING TO.

........2 - VERY GOOD ...................................................2 - A SHADE SLOW ...........................................B - WORTH LISTENING TO.

........3 - GOOD .............................................................3 - A SHADE FAST.............................................C - OK

........4 - OK...................................................................4 - VERY SLOW ................................................D - NOT WORTH LISTENING TO

........5 - BAD ................................................................5 - VERY FAST...................................................E - TIME TO SWITCH OFF!

........6 - VERY BAD .......................................................6 - FAR TOO SLOW,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,F - ABSOLUTELY ATTROCIOUS

........7 - ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.......................................7 - FAR TOO FAST
