Below is a small extract from our fascinating book
"Lottery Numbers: Past, Present & Future"
Chapter 1
Take a look at Chart 1 below. The first column are the
numbers 1-52. These refer to the week numbers of one year in the Florida
State Lottery drawn between 6/4/91 and 28/3/92 inclusive. The second set
of numbers under the heading of 'Lottery No's' refer to the numbers drawn
in that week.
So in week 1 the lottery numbers drawn were 3, 5, 11,
15, 16 & 37, and in week 2 the lottery numbers drawn were 4, 19, 23, 31,
42 & 43 and so on. You will see that some of the numbers on this part
of the Chart are highlighted. These numbers are even ones. That is those
exactly divisible by two.
In week one number 16 was drawn. It is highlighted as
it is even. In week two numbers 4 and 42 were drawn. They are both ringed
as they are also even. The third column is entitled Total. This is where
the total weekly number of even numbers are recorded.
In this column against week 1 there is only one even
number drawn so the figure 1 is placed in the Total column. In the same
column against week 2 there are 2 even numbers drawn so the figure 2
is placed in the Total column and so on.
Chart 1.1 shows stars (*) in boxes and forms a separate
diagram. This diagram shows us a picture of how the even numbers fell
on a weekly basis over the year in question. For example, if you count
how many times the number 1 occurred in the Total column you will see
that there were six.
Therefore there are 6 stars under
the 1 column of this diagram. The number 6 is shown at the bottom
of this diagram in the same column to indicate the star total.
Also in the Total column you will count that there were
9 weeks where there were two even numbers drawn. So there are 9 stars
under the 2 column of this diagram. The number 9 is shown at the bottom
of the diagram in the same column.
There were 22 weeks in that year where there were 3
even numbers counted in the draw and so on. My main conclusion from looking
at the Chart is that there are hardly any weeks where the lottery numbers
drawn are either all odd or all even.
So if you happen accidentally to have chosen 6 even
numbers or 6 odd numbers as your lottery selection then YOU SHOULD CHOOSE
A FRESH SELECTION TO TAKE THAT FACT INTO ACCOUNT.
In other words make sure that you have at least 2, 3
or 4 even numbers in your selection. Applying this conclusion gives us
a distinct advantage over our fellow punters.
We must, however, check to make sure that the above
conclusion is sound by checking it against the results of the first year
of the UK National Lottery.
